Scott joined Missouri LAGERS as the system’s CIO in 2024. Prior to his role at LAGERS, he served as the deputy chief investment officer for the School and Institutional Trust Fund Office (SITFO) in Utah, where he helped oversee the $3.5 billion permanent fund. With over 30 years of institutional asset management experience, Scott has also served in a number of leadership roles for institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and the Employees Retirement System of Texas.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University and received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001.
